Take the Pledge

Be A Road Safety Champion
Every 53 hours on average, someone is involved in a fatal crash within the Heart of Alabama Region. Fatalities and serious injuries occur with all modes of travel and all age groups. No loss of life by traffic crash is acceptable. If we work together, we can change our safety culture and prevent deaths and serious injuries on our transportation system.

AS A ROAD SAFETY CHAMPION, I PLEDGE TO:

Follow all traffic laws.
Travel at safe speeds and encourage others to do the same.
Drive only while sober.
Avoid distractions while walking, biking, and driving.
Always wear a seatbelt and require every passenger in my vehicle to use a seatbelt or car seat.
Be courteous and safely share the road with other users.
